First seen Feb 27, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a six-week balance and strength program can improve static balance in athletes with chronic ankle instability. 78 athletes took part, doing exercises on a wobble board and with resistance bands three times a week. Some also received kinesio taping. The goal was to see which approach works best for improving balance and reducing the risk of the ankle giving way.
