Scientists use VR and brain scans to unlock secrets of childhood balance
NCT ID NCT06802094
Summary
This study aims to understand how children learn balance tasks and whether there are differences between children with Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) and typically developing children. Researchers will have 50 children practice a balance task in virtual reality while measuring their movement patterns and brain activity. The goal is to gather knowledge about movement learning strategies, not to provide treatment or improve symptoms.
