Balance board training may ease knee arthritis pain

Summary

This study tests whether adding balance platform exercises to standard physical therapy can improve pain, balance, and daily function in people with knee osteoarthritis. 36 adults aged 45 to 65 with moderate knee arthritis will be randomly assigned to either standard therapy alone or standard therapy plus balance training. Researchers will measure pain, balance, and fear of falling before and after treatment.
