This study looked at whether Baduanjin, a traditional Chinese mind-body exercise, can lower blood pressure in people with high-normal readings (130-139/85-89 mmHg). 216 adults aged 40+ practiced Baduanjin, and researchers measured their blood pressure over 12 weeks and again at 52 weeks. The goal was to see if this simple, low-cost activity could help manage blood pressure and improve overall health.
