First seen Jan 14, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looked at whether Baduanjin, a gentle form of exercise, can help people with type 2 diabetes. 42 adults aged 50-60 with diabetes for 5-10 years took part. The goal was to see if the exercise could lower stress hormones and blood sugar, and improve quality of life. While not a cure, it may offer a way to better manage diabetes and reduce medication dependence.
