Summary

This study tests whether a cocktail of viruses that attack bacteria (bacteriophages) can safely and effectively treat ventilator-associated pneumonia caused by multidrug-resistant germs. About 248 adults on ventilators will receive the therapy or a placebo. The goal is to improve infection clearance and survival rates.
