Summary

This study tests a treatment using special viruses (bacteriophages) to fight severe lung infections caused by drug-resistant bacteria in patients on breathing machines. About 248 adults with ventilator-associated pneumonia will receive the virus cocktail or standard care. The goal is to see if this approach improves infection clearance and survival.
