First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study checks if using specially cleaned water in reusable bottles for colonoscopy is safe and practical. Researchers will test if the water gets contaminated with bacteria from the patient during the procedure. If safe, this could reduce medical waste and make colonoscopy more eco-friendly. The study involves 40 adults scheduled for a colonoscopy.
