NCT ID NCT01604330
Summary
This study tested whether a medication called baclofen could help people with alcohol problems reduce their drinking or stop completely for one year. 323 participants were randomly assigned to receive either baclofen or a placebo pill. The main goal was to see if those taking baclofen were more likely to have low-risk drinking or abstinence compared to those taking the placebo.
