Summary
This study tested a teaching method called backward chaining to help elderly nursing home residents learn how to get up from the floor safely. 26 residents aged 65 and older who could walk at least 6 meters took part. The goal was to improve their mobility, muscle strength, and confidence, and reduce fear of falling.
