First seen Jan 28, 2026 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looked at how back muscles function in 25 teenagers with mild to moderate scoliosis (15-40 degree curves) during exercises with and without the Schroth method correction. Using ultrasound, researchers measured muscle thickness at rest and during contraction. The goal was to understand muscle asymmetry and how specific spinal corrections affect muscle activity.
