New study challenges 3-Month sideline rule for young Athletes' back pain
NCT ID NCT07430072
Summary
This study is testing a new, more active rehabilitation plan for teenage soccer players diagnosed with a specific low back bone stress injury. It aims to see if a program that allows for earlier, pain-controlled activity is safe and effective, compared to the current standard of a mandatory 3-month break from all sports. The goal is to help young athletes recover while minimizing negative social and physical effects from being sidelined.
