First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at 200 adults with sick sinus syndrome who need a pacemaker. Researchers want to see if pacing the heart from a spot called Bachmann's bundle is better for heart health than the usual spot, the right atrial appendage. Participants will be followed with heart ultrasounds to check changes in heart structure and function over time.
