ER care boxes aim to boost prenatal Follow-Up for newly pregnant women

NCT ID NCT07499648

First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving pregnant patients extra resources, like a 'care box,' during an emergency department visit helps them attend follow-up prenatal appointments and feel more confident about their pregnancy. About 50 participants will be randomly assigned to receive the box right away or two weeks later. Researchers will track medical records and survey responses to see if the extra support makes a difference.
