Baby massage class boosts student Know-How, study finds

NCT ID NCT07304804

First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a short baby massage training session could improve what midwifery students know about infant massage. 64 third- and fourth-year students were split into two groups: one received a 30-45 minute training with video and practice, while the other did not. After the training, the group that received it scored significantly higher on a knowledge quiz. The study shows that even a brief, structured lesson can increase students' understanding of baby massage.
