First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This pilot study tests whether using a soft baby carrier for extra physical contact helps mothers with prenatal anxiety or depression feel more connected to their baby. 40 moms will be randomly assigned to use the carrier or wait. Researchers will measure bonding, mood, and brain activity to see if the intervention is helpful and practical.
