First seen Apr 29, 2026 ยท Last updated Apr 29, 2026
Summary
This pilot study tests whether using a soft baby carrier for extra physical contact helps mothers who had anxiety or depression during pregnancy feel more connected to their babies. About 40 mothers in Montreal will either use the carrier or be on a waitlist. Researchers will measure bonding, brain activity, and how practical and helpful the intervention is.
