Researchers hunt for clues on rare, potentially deadly tick disease
NCT ID NCT07345988
Summary
This study aims to gather and describe information about cases of human babesiosis, a rare tick-borne infection, in mainland France. Researchers will look back at medical records from the past 24 years to understand who gets the disease, how it presents, and how it was treated. The goal is to build a clearer picture of this understudied illness to help doctors recognize and manage it better in the future.
