NCT ID NCT01802632
First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tested a new drug called AZD9291 in 603 people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer whose tumors had started growing again after previous targeted therapy. The main goals were to find the best dose, check for side effects, and see if the drug could shrink tumors. Results helped guide later trials and led to a new treatment option for this type of lung cancer.
