New combo pill aims to slash stubborn cholesterol

Summary
This study tests whether adding an experimental drug (AZD0780) to a common statin (rosuvastatin) can lower 'bad' LDL cholesterol more than the statin alone. About 76 adults with high cholesterol and heart disease risk will take the combo or a placebo for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if the new drug helps reach lower cholesterol targets safely.
