Engineered immune cells take aim at lupus in new trial

Summary
This study tests a new treatment called AZD0120 for adults with severe lupus that hasn't improved with standard therapies. AZD0120 uses a patient's own immune cells, modified to target and destroy faulty immune cells that drive lupus. The trial has two phases: first to find a safe dose, then to see if it can reduce lupus disease activity. About 150 participants will be enrolled.
