Summary
This study tests whether adding the drug axatilimab to standard care can prevent graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) in blood cancer patients receiving a stem cell transplant from a donor. GVHD occurs when donor cells attack the patient's body, causing symptoms like skin rash, dry eyes, and mouth. The trial will enroll 72 adults and compare outcomes between those receiving axatilimab plus standard therapy versus standard therapy alone.
