New pill AVZO-023 takes on advanced cancers in first human trial

Summary
This study is the first to test AVZO-023, an oral drug that blocks a protein called CDK4, in people with advanced solid tumors (cancers that have spread). The main goals are to check safety, find the best dose, and see if it can shrink tumors. About 380 adults with HR+/HER2- breast cancer or other advanced solid tumors will take part. This is not a cure, but aims to control the disease.
