NCT ID NCT07278908
First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding all-trans retinoic acid (ATRA) to the standard drug avatrombopag helps adults with immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) maintain safe platelet levels after stopping treatment. About 248 people whose ITP did not improve with first therapy or came back will be followed for one year. The goal is to see if the combination allows more patients to stay off all medications at 52 weeks.
