First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at whether an FDA-approved automated device can safely drain small amounts of spinal fluid in people aged 60 and older with normal pressure hydrocephalus. The device monitors pressure continuously and reduces the need for manual checks by nurses. Ten participants will be observed to see if the device is practical and acceptable for routine use.
