Can a computer match expert doctors in reading exercise tests?
NCT ID NCT07534384
First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study checks if a computer algorithm can correctly interpret cardiopulmonary exercise tests (CPETs), which measure how well the heart and lungs work during exercise. About 600 patients will take the test as usual, and experts will compare the computer's readings to their own over 6 months. The goal is to see if automation can help doctors make faster, more consistent decisions.
