Summary
This study tested whether listening to an audio book or feeling a local vibration can reduce pain and fear in children aged 4-6 during a routine shot. 120 children in a pediatric emergency unit were randomly assigned to one of these methods or standard care. The goal was to find a simple, non-drug way to make injections less distressing for young kids.
