First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looked at whether different types of attention focus during exercise can improve physical performance and thinking skills in older adults. Researchers divided 60 participants aged 65 and older into groups that focused internally (on their body), externally (on the environment), or had no special focus during training. The goal was to find the best way to help seniors walk safely and stay independent.
