Eye drop study aims to put the brakes on Kids' worsening eyesight

NCT ID NCT04699357

Summary

This study tested whether three different strengths of atropine eye drops could slow down the progression of severe nearsightedness in young children. Over two years, 219 children used one of the eye drop strengths nightly. Researchers measured changes in their glasses prescription and eye length to see which concentration worked best and was safest.
