Eye drop study aims to halt Kids' worsening eyesight

NCT ID NCT04699357

Summary

This study tested whether three different strengths of atropine eye drops could slow down the progression of severe nearsightedness in young children. Over two years, 219 children with rapidly worsening eyesight used one of the drops nightly. Researchers compared how well each strength controlled the condition and monitored side effects like light sensitivity.
