Could a simple patch unlock the mystery of unexplained strokes?
NCT ID NCT07295769
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study is testing a wearable ECG patch (MEMO Patch) to see if it can detect hidden atrial fibrillation—an irregular heartbeat that raises stroke risk—in 100 people who had a stroke with no known cause. Participants wear the patch for up to 14 days at home, and results are compared with standard in-hospital monitoring. The goal is to find a better, noninvasive way to diagnose this condition and guide treatment to prevent future strokes.
