New drug duo targets rare bile duct cancer in promising trial

Summary
This study tests a combination of two drugs, atezolizumab and derazantinib, in 27 adults with advanced intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (a type of bile duct cancer) that has a specific FGFR2 gene change. The goal is to see if the treatment can shrink tumors and to check for side effects. Participants receive the drugs by infusion and pill, and their response is measured every 8 weeks.
