NCT ID NCT03738228
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This early-phase trial tested whether adding the immunotherapy drug atezolizumab to standard chemoradiation could help control advanced cervical cancer that has spread to lymph nodes. Forty participants received atezolizumab before and during chemoradiotherapy. The main goal was to see if the combination boosted the immune system's ability to fight the cancer. Researchers also monitored side effects. This is not a cure, but aims to improve disease control.
