Stroke survivors try Nerve-Zapping home therapy to regain arm use
NCT ID NCT05691023
Summary
This study is testing whether a vagus nerve stimulation device can help improve arm movement when used during rehabilitation therapy at home. It involves up to 50 people who have had a stroke and already have the device implanted. Therapists visit participants' homes to guide therapy sessions paired with the stimulation, and participants also use the device on their own for up to two years.
