Brain and language study seeks 500 volunteers with aphasia
NCT ID NCT00537004
First seen Feb 27, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at how uneven brain shrinkage affects language skills in people with primary progressive aphasia (PPA). Researchers will use MRI scans and language tests to track changes over time. The goal is to better understand the disease, not to test a treatment. Participants must be right-handed, native English speakers, and safe for an MRI.
