Summary
This study looks at whether a natural supplement called astaxanthin, made from algae, can help slow brain aging in healthy older adults. Researchers will give 120 people aged 50 and older either a placebo or a low or high dose of astaxanthin for 6 months. They will measure changes in memory, thinking, and brain function using tests, brain scans, and blood samples.
