NCT ID NCT05265299

First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looks at whether aspirin can help people with COPD by reducing inflammation caused by overactive blood cells called platelets. Researchers will test two different aspirin doses in 48 former smokers with COPD to see which one works better. The goal is to find the right dose for a future larger trial that could improve breathing and reduce flare-ups.
