First human tests begin for new nerve pain injection
NCT ID NCT07363395
Summary
This is the first study in humans to test the safety of an experimental injection called ASCT-83, which is being developed to treat neuropathic pain. The study will involve 72 healthy adults to see how their bodies react to different doses, how the drug moves through their system, and what side effects might occur. Results will help determine safe dose levels for future studies in people who actually have nerve pain.
