Summary
This study tests a training program called ASCEND, developed by the World Health Organization, for supervisors in small and medium-sized businesses in the Netherlands. The goal is to see if the training helps supervisors better support their employees' mental health, reduce stigma, and improve overall workplace well-being. About 148 supervisors and their employees will participate, with some receiving the training right away and others later. The study measures changes in supervisor confidence, employee mental health, and company absenteeism.
