This study tests whether combining two drugs—ASC22 and pegylated interferon alfa—can functionally cure chronic hepatitis B. It involves 150 adults with low virus levels and no hepatitis B e-antigen. The goal is to raise the cure rate above 50% without needing to select specific patient groups.
