First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study is looking at 2000 people who have had a brain aneurysm rupture (aSAH) to understand why some recover well and others have serious complications. Researchers will collect blood, spinal fluid, urine, and other samples to study genes, proteins, and other molecules. The goal is to find biological markers that predict problems like delayed brain injury or pneumonia, which could lead to better treatments in the future.
