First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looked at whether doing art therapy during hemodialysis sessions can reduce common symptoms like fatigue and discomfort, and improve spiritual well-being. Sixty adults on dialysis took part, with one group doing at least 30 minutes of art during each session. Researchers measured symptoms and well-being before, after 4 weeks of art, and 4 weeks later to see if the benefits lasted.
