Summary

This study looks at 90 people with a heart condition called mitral valve prolapse who need surgery to fix a leaky valve. Researchers want to see if the surgery reduces dangerous heart rhythms and scarring in the heart muscle. Participants will have heart scans and wear a heart monitor for a week before and 6 months after surgery.
