New study tests simple arm exercise device to boost stroke recovery
NCT ID NCT05880940
Summary
This study tested two ways to add extra arm exercise to standard stroke rehabilitation. Researchers compared a customized hand-and-arm exercise program to using a movable wheelchair armrest that helps move the arm back and forth. The goal was to see which method better improved arm movement and recovery for people recently hospitalized after a stroke.
