First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests if a newer surgical method called argon plasma coagulation (APC) is gentler on the ovaries than the standard cystectomy for treating ovarian endometriomas. Seventy-two women will be randomly assigned to one of the two procedures. The main goal is to see how each surgery affects ovarian reserve by measuring AMH hormone levels before and after treatment.
