First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tested three different doses of a blood thinner called argatroban, given with standard drugs (clopidogrel and aspirin), in 140 patients with stable coronary artery disease or unstable angina who needed a procedure to open blocked heart arteries. The goal was to see how well argatroban prevents blood clots and bleeding compared to the usual blood thinner, heparin. The study was completed and focused on safety and effectiveness during and after the procedure.
