NCT ID NCT06724341

First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tested whether augmented reality (AR) glasses can help children aged 7-9 feel less pain and anxiety during a dental numbing injection. 108 children were split into four groups: some watched animated movies, some played video games, some did both, all using AR glasses or a mobile device. Their pain, anxiety, and behavior were measured during the procedure.
