Summary
This study tested an experimental drug called APX001 for treating serious fungal infections in the lungs or other organs. It involved 21 adults with infections that weren't responding to standard treatments or who couldn't tolerate them. The trial was terminated early and aimed to see if APX001 could help control these dangerous infections.
