New inhaled treatment tested for Life-Threatening lung failure
NCT ID NCT07317050
Summary
This trial is testing whether an inhaled drug called aprotinin can help adults with severe lung failure (ARDS) in the ICU. It will compare the drug against a placebo in 156 patients, measuring if it helps them breathe without a ventilator and survive. The goal is to see if this drug, added to standard care, can control the disease and improve recovery.
