Summary
This study tested a smartphone app designed to help unpaid caregivers of people with dementia reduce their stress and burden. 150 caregivers used the app for 8 weeks, learning stress-management strategies based on cognitive behavioural therapy. Researchers measured changes in stress, burden, depression, and anxiety to see if the app made a difference.
